Yay, I’ve got droopy drawers!
I’ve lost about 15 pounds so far, and now I’m really starting to see it in the way my clothes fit. My favourite jeans literally fell right off me last night, despite making new smaller belt holes in my belt. I now have to rummage through piles of boxes in my basement for my old, but not really worn, smaller clothing. Although I’m saddened by giving up my favourite jeans, I found a pair that I wore all last year which now fits again. In my ventures through boxes of old jeans I found my very first pair of jeans that I bought when I was 12, ironically enough they are a size 12. I’m determined to fit into them again, although my mom insists that they will be too short.
Yay more motivation for me! My sister got engaged yesterday and wants to be married by the end of August. It’s safe to say that I am going to be one of her bridesmaids. How much weight do you think I’d be able to lose by then and around what dress size could that be?
Also, for motivation I have a Hong Kong class trip this summer and would love to be wearing shorts there because it is HOT! Shorts look terrible on me right now. My third motivation is being an orientation leader for my school this September. After I finished a speech in my public speaking class I was on a high of “yes I can do anything”, and stupidly signed up to be an orientation leader. The leaders last year had lots of energy and were constantly running around. Plus, there is always a silly dance the leaders teach everyone, and right now I would be way too self-conscious to dance in front of an audience.
And finally, my last major motivation is my Dad’s wedding in a little over a year. By then I hope to be at a healthy weight. Around 150 pounds is my mini goal, scheduled around that time. I hope to have plenty more droopy drawer moments before then
